The Business Intelligence Analyst provides program and affiliate leadership with timely, accurate and insightful reports for program evaluation and administrative purposes. The Analyst also supports requirements for external regulatory and funding organizations, as well as internal teams tasked with quality and risk management, research, clinical practices, and other needs.

Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing analysis and reporting projects from conceptualization to completion, with ability to define and report on key project milestones.

  • Maintaining a schedule of routine descriptive reports and exception reporting tasks.

  • Supporting program and affiliate ad hoc exploratory and diagnostic analytical needs.

  • Evaluating, documenting and coordinating systems output and reporting requirements for funders as defined by contracts, service providers and program managers.

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities. Leads process improvement projects and teams. Coaches and mentors others in process improvement.

  • Supporting program staff in applying data driven approaches to identify opportunities to improve service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Developing systems of data collection and reporting not included in the systems of record to support requirements as needed.

  • Using critical reasoning skills to examine data trends and provide a logical and relevant interpretation within the context of organizational and service delivery conditions, and outcome improvement goals.

  • Summarizing and presenting findings accurately and effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Identifying and implementing improvements to systems of record in conjunction with other members of the Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance team.


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Social Work, Computational Science, Information Systems or similar field required.  One (1) year of undergraduate coursework in data analysis or statistics. Experience in data analysis, decision support, including demonstrated proficiency with analytical software, and a track record of increasing responsibility for discerning and recommending data driven strategic alternatives required. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license and meet agency driving standards.
